Casting What-Ifs

Jason Concepcion▶ 28:40Tom Hardy — Credits Miller for making Hardy's taciturn nature not a hindrance, but calls Hardy's performance 'the weirdest kind of half-assing' and says he seems to be 'sleepwalking through a lot of stuff'
Micah Peters▶ 29:40Tom Hardy — More positive on Hardy - thinks his grunting suits the role, appreciates small physical moments like the nightmare scene where he wakes up trying to punch someone
Sean Fennessey▶ 27:08Heath Ledger — Discusses Mel Gibson was originally attached until 2003, Heath Ledger was considered before his death. Critical of Tom Hardy's performance - doesn't like what he was going for, feels half of it is dubbed, notes Hardy was difficult on set

Sean Fennessey▶ 40:53Presents extensive research facts including development hell starting 1997, filming delays, George Miller's diverse filmography, 132-pound flaming guitar, shooting in sequence, 120-day shoot in Namibia, colorful cinematography directive, and feminist consultant Eve Ensler's involvement
