Most Rewatchable Scene

Bill Simmons▶ 24:34Eye of the Tiger opening montage, Thunderlips scene (9 minutes long), and Clubber interrupting Rocky's statue ceremony
Cousin Sal▶ 21:21Later training montage on the beach, second training montage, and Thunderlips scene for 'pure enjoyment'
Gus Ramsey▶ 25:02Eye of the Tiger opening montage - calls it 'certainly in the top three' greatest sports movie montages

What's Aged the Best

Bill Simmons▶ 52:38the awkward beach hug

What's Aged the Worst

Bill Simmons▶ 52:54Multiple picks: loss of surprise factor for Mickey's death/Rocky getting knocked out/Apollo training Rocky; Gene Siskel's racism critique being fair; Paulie's racism in general; Frank Stallone's 'Pushing' song; starting Rocky 3 with Rocky 2 recap; Mickey being revealed as Jewish (Goldmill) feeling out of left field
Cousin Sal▶ 53:44Frank Stallone's 'Pushing' compared unfavorably to better songs like 'Living in America'; scantily clad women lifting ropes for Thunderlips; fight scenes because modern UFC/boxing knowledge makes the unrealistic elements obvious
Gus Ramsey▶ 53:29Agreed on Frank Stallone's 'Pushing' (questioned if it can age worse if already bad); Mickey being Jewish revelation seemed out of left field; fight scenes requiring dim lighting to hide small crowd

Best Quote

Bill Simmons▶ 58:04Lists multiple quotes: 'there is no tomorrow', 'you can't win', 'I pity the fool', 'pain', 'dead meat' but refuses to pick one, saying 'I'm not picking'
